DESCRIPTION:Cople Players\, on behalf of the Friends of Cople Church are preparing to inflict the crime of pantomime on the good citizens of Cople once more. \nOn Friday 9th and Saturday 10th March 2018\, three performances of Snow White and Some Dwarfs will take place in the village hall. \nCast and crew are hard at work\, perfecting their lines and performances – well perfecting may be a bit of an exaggeration\, but they are showing willing. It promises to be a memorable experience\, though possibly not in the way intended. \nTickets will be available in February\, so put the dates in your diary – more details to follow\, but here are the prices. \n                Friday night £10 per person \n                Saturday Matinee £8 Adults / £5 Children under 14 \n                Saturday night £12 per person \n

DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Cople Church invite you to participate in the annual Safari Supper on Saturday 3rd February meeting at 19:00 in All Saints Church\, ticket price £15 per head. \nThis is a very popular and fun event and allows people to meet folk from the village who they may normally not have contact with. If you are not familiar with the format\, when you meet at the church you will be given the address of your host for your starter\, and at that venue you will be informed where your main course will be served. Finally we meet back at the church for dessert. \nThe evening has been so successful because of our volunteer hosts\, who over the years have provided some wonderful meals and hospitality\, but we need new blood! So please take the plunge\, especially if new to the village\, and come along and volunteer to host 4-6 guests for a starter or a main course. DESCRIPTION:Come and join the Rotarians of Biggleswade Ivel and their friends at the Village Hall on Friday 12th May for an entertaining evening. \nThree experienced ‘wordsmiths’ will form a panel of experts to provide alternative definitions of a given word\, but only one is true\, the other two are false. Will you be able to spot the ‘bluffers’? \nTeams of up to eight members will be asked to make their decision prior to the truth being announced. At the end of the evening the members of the winning team will each receive a prize for their efforts. DESCRIPTION:Would you like to take part in this year’s Starlight Walk and remember a loved one? \nJoin us as we walk around the grounds and local countryside on the 24 September 2016\, it’s also a great way to raise money for your local hospice. \nGet those walking shoes ready and book: www.sueryder.org/stjohns/starlightwalk \nThe starlight Walk will take place within the St John’s Hospice grounds and surrounding countryside\, and will include a shorter 5km option as well as the usual 10km. \nThe night kicks off with entertainment on the main stage including a clubbercise warm up in-line with our Ibiza theme\, so there is sure to be something to keep you motivated! \nWhat do I need? The route will be lit where possible\, but you may like to bring your own torch\, or better yet\, support a great cause and buy one of ours! \nThere will be hot drinks\, food and merchandise available. \nIf you would also like to volunteer on the night please call 01767 642412\, alternatively you can make a donation by emailing stjohnsfundraising@suerydercare.org. \nRegistration fee Adult £20 \nLast year’s event raised £65\,000.
