DESCRIPTION:Location: St John’s Hospice\, St John’s Road\, Moggerhanger\, Bedford\, MK44 3RJ \nGates open: 7.30pm\nWalk starts: 9pm \nCome and join us for a night of entertainment\, remembrance and fundraising during our Starlight Walk 2017. \nLast year we raised over £48\,000 to help provide incredible care to our patients and their families\, This year – with your support – we hope to raise even more!\nChoose to walk either the 5K or 10K route\, both of which start and finish at the hospice with the opportunity to dedicate a star in our memory garden. Upon completion of the walk\, you will be awarded your Starlight Walk medal! \nThere will be live entertainment and a group warm-up to keep you entertained in the evening before the start of the walk. \nPlease note: Some of the ground will be uneven so please don’t forget to wear sturdy walking boots and to bring a torch along with you. Regrettably\, the routes are not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs – we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Also\, dogs are not allowed at this event. \nWant to get your friends\, family or colleagues involved too? Register as a team – the largest team will receive a prize!

DESCRIPTION:Would you like to take part in this year’s Starlight Walk and remember a loved one? \nJoin us as we walk around the grounds and local countryside on the 24 September 2016\, it’s also a great way to raise money for your local hospice. \nGet those walking shoes ready and book: www.sueryder.org/stjohns/starlightwalk \nThe starlight Walk will take place within the St John’s Hospice grounds and surrounding countryside\, and will include a shorter 5km option as well as the usual 10km. \nThe night kicks off with entertainment on the main stage including a clubbercise warm up in-line with our Ibiza theme\, so there is sure to be something to keep you motivated! \nWhat do I need? The route will be lit where possible\, but you may like to bring your own torch\, or better yet\, support a great cause and buy one of ours! \nThere will be hot drinks\, food and merchandise available. \nIf you would also like to volunteer on the night please call 01767 642412\, alternatively you can make a donation by emailing stjohnsfundraising@suerydercare.org. \nRegistration fee Adult £20 \nLast year’s event raised £65\,000. This year St John’s Hospice requires £2.7 million to keep its doors open and continue to provide the care so many patients and their families need. \nPlease accept our apologies and note that dogs may not be brought along to this event.
