It’s a great way to meet people and extend your range of friends \nThe Safari Supperers will meet at the Church at 7pm \nYou will be divided into groups of 6 to 8 people\, each group moves onto their allocated host’s house for starters \nAfter starters your group breaks up and you join a different group at a different host’s house for your main course \nFinally\, everyone staggers back to the Church for desserts \nYour ticket\, £20 pp\, includes a welcome drink at the Church and a three-course meal. Specify any dietary requirements so your host is made aware of this \nWine will be on sale but also feel free to bring your own \nAs you can imagine\, quite a large number of people are required to help. DESCRIPTION:Cople Christmas Switch On \nThis year starts a new tradition by bringing us all together to celebrate our fantastic village at Christmas time! \nJoin us at All Saints Church for a variety of artisan stalls selling beautifully crafted gifts and decorations\, from 1pm \nTake your time and wander around from 1pm to 5pm\, treating yourselves and others. \nFollow the signs across to Santa’s Grotto! (1pm). \nWarm up with hot chocolate\, mulled wine and mince pies ready to sing along with the Church choir and Sheerhatch Primary School (2.30pm)\, as we celebrate this festive season with traditional Christmas carols. \nTree lights switch on around 5pm followed by the village light switch on. \nThe magic continues with a children’s Christmas party held in the Five Bells pub\, Sports & Social Club\, 6pm to 7.30pm. Donations for the children’s party food and drinks will be welcome (contact heidirobinsonpc@gmail.com) \nBring your loved ones and gather around the Christmas tree decorated by children of Sheerhatch Primary School\, for the Christmas light switch on and admire our village in a new lit-up way! \nHappy holidays from Cople Parish Council.

DESCRIPTION:Please note: this event was originally scheduled for 15th July\n  \nCharlie and Carolyn Porter will host a guided farm walk at Wood End farm\, followed by a BBQ. \n  \nThe cost will be £10 for adults and £5 for children under 14 The ticket price includes a burger or sausage and a soft drink. There will be no bar\, though soft drinks will be available. \n  \nThis event is on behalf of the Friends of Cople Church \n  \nThe walk will last about 1.5 hours and will be about 1.5 miles over grass fields and farm tracks. So\, attendees should wear suitable walking shoes\, and need to be able to complete the walk\, which means it may not be suitable for very small children. \n  \nAs we are hoping to see wildlife\, we won’t be able to take dogs\, and it will be weather dependent\, so may be cancelled at short notice. For this reason\, please register your interest with Miles by Saturday 8th July\, on milotetley@gmail.com so we can communicate with everyone if cancellation is necessary. \n  \nPayment will be taken on the day\, and we do have a card machine. \n(NB for Wood End Farm\, although the postcode is MK44 3TZ\, from Northill Road turn into Water End and drive to the very end of the road)
