DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Cople Church invite you to participate in the annual Safari Supper on Saturday 3rd February meeting at 19:00 in All Saints Church\, ticket price £15 per head. \nThis is a very popular and fun event and allows people to meet folk from the village who they may normally not have contact with. If you are not familiar with the format\, when you meet at the church you will be given the address of your host for your starter\, and at that venue you will be informed where your main course will be served. Finally we meet back at the church for dessert. \nThe evening has been so successful because of our volunteer hosts\, who over the years have provided some wonderful meals and hospitality\, but we need new blood! So please take the plunge\, especially if new to the village\, and come along and volunteer to host 4-6 guests for a starter or a main course. SUMMARY:St John's Starlight Walk
DESCRIPTION:Location: St John’s Hospice\, St John’s Road\, Moggerhanger\, Bedford\, MK44 3RJ \nGates open: 7.30pm\nWalk starts: 9pm \nCome and join us for a night of entertainment\, remembrance and fundraising during our Starlight Walk 2017. \nLast year we raised over £48\,000 to help provide incredible care to our patients and their families\, This year – with your support – we hope to raise even more!\nChoose to walk either the 5K or 10K route\, both of which start and finish at the hospice with the opportunity to dedicate a star in our memory garden. Upon completion of the walk\, you will be awarded your Starlight Walk medal! \nThere will be live entertainment and a group warm-up to keep you entertained in the evening before the start of the walk. \nPlease note: Some of the ground will be uneven so please don’t forget to wear sturdy walking boots and to bring a torch along with you. Regrettably\, the routes are not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs – we apologise for any inconvenience caused. Also\, dogs are not allowed at this event. \nWant to get your friends\, family or colleagues involved too? Register as a team – the largest team will receive a prize!
