Laurence Whiting – Ultramarathon for Alzheimer’s Research (13th September 2026)
Laurence Whiting was born here and educated at Cople School. He lived the first years of his married life in Grange Lane and now lives in nearby Ampthill. He is undertaking his first Ultramarathon (75km+) to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Research, a charity dear to his heart, in addition to the hearts of many local residents. Any donations, however small, for his encouragement will boost the research for a cure (please add your name and “Cople” to your gift as it will mean so much to him.) Thank you.
