Local potter, Eve Carroll who you might have met at Willington Village Market, will be creating a pop up pottery space this summer at the ‘Willington Home and Leisure’ (garden centre) during the months of July and August.
Eve is currently advertising the ‘Pottery Shed’ and says;
‘The pottery shed will offer both adults and children the chance to come along and design their own piece of pottery. You will be able to choose a piece of ready to decorate bisque from our range of mugs, cups, bowls, tiles and more’.
All pieces are made at Eve’s pottery studio in Cople. The finished pieces will be left with us and glazed and fired in the kiln, ready for you to collect within a week.
Both adults & children who enjoy being creative can book a session and take time out to switch off.
Eve said, ‘Painting pottery allows for self-expression and the pottery shed will provide all the materials and encouragement you will need to share a fun, relaxing and creative experience’.
Eve has spent the last 30 years delivering art and pottery workshops to people of all ages, in schools, colleges, leading community run art workshops and generally promoting the benefits of creativity for all.
Open: Mon, Tue, Wed & Sat, July and August 10am to 4pm
Pottery pieces are £15 each to paint on
